Leser Safety Relief Valves

Overview

Relief valves are used to control or limit building pressure in a vessel to avoid system malfunction. Relief valves start operation at a set pressure determined by the system requirements, once the system reaches approximately 90% of set pressure the valve begins to lift and will go into full lift at 10% overpressure. As the pressure in the system drops, the valve starts to close and will fully close once the excess overpressure is relieved and the system drops back down to the operating pressure. W&O offers relief valves for liquid service and safety valves for air and steam service. We stock them in several body materials (bronze, iron, cast steel and stainless steel) and in numerous end connections and sizes. Our relief valves are sized and set to provide the overpressure protection and required capacity for the system that they are installed on. If you require certification, testing and repairs of your relief valves you can count on W&O to be your full-service provider.
